Chef Alessandro Grano is originally from Apulia in southern Italy, and is currently the head chef of La Fromagerie. He specialises in exciting and artisan recipes based on and around cheese and two years ago, he published his first book “A Year in Cheese”.
Alessandro really appreciates that each cheese is different and needs to be treated with exceptional care and respect. “Age is something that doesn’t matter, unless you are a cheese” with complimenting flavours and textures.
Class description: In the ‘Authentic Cheese and Wine Pairings Masterclass’, you will learn what it takes to become a real cheese tasting master! discover how cheeses are made, explore the history and geographical regions that they come from, allowing you to differentiate between several varying and distinctive types of cheese. Throughout the course, you will indulge your senses, gaining an opportunity to taste a wide selection of cheeses and how these, complement each of the Italian wines. This course is ideal for those who enjoy entertaining at home, or simply love cheese and wine!
